Present Continuous vs Present Simple

Remember the uses for the PRESENT SIMPLE and the PRESENT CONTINUOUS

When do we have to use one or the other?

Present Simple

We are studying the Present Simple in Unit 2. We use the PRESENT SIMPLE to talk about:
- routines,
- habits,
- general facts.

I leave you how to do it with some verbs as an example. You can change these verbs for any regular verb, such as play, eat, drink, visit, do, etc. Pay attention we need the verb DO to create the negative and the interrogative form, and to make the short answers as well.

 

    Verb WORK (trabajar)

     Verb GO (ir)

      Verb LIVE (vivir)

Halloween week
